Narcissa nodded. She was still mortified that she had blurted it out and lost control like that. It was so unusual for her to do something like that. "I know," she said though she wasn't that sure deep down inside. She knew better than to voice her true thoughts to anyone apart from her husband and even then she didn't really do it. It was too dangerous.
"I know and I do realise that," she said nodding. "It's a tricky position we are in," she admitted. "You have no idea how much it means to me to here that from you," she said ducking her head slightly. "I'm glad to still have your friendship." She had lost so much that even the smallest things she would willingly cling to. "I will and do as much as I can," she told him. "I'm not usually one to blurt it out like that."
