Audrey wrapped her arms around herself and made her way downstairs to the Common room. Whatever Alfie wanted to discuss, she was certain it wasn't good. She didn't even need to use her knowledge of years as his best friend to figure it out, it had been as plain as if he'd written it out. Stuffing her hands into the pockets of her jeans, she bit back a sigh and stepped down the last step.

There was Alfie, across the way, sitting on the couch and Aud pursed her lips. She couldn't help but think whatever it was Alfie needed to talk about had to do with her and their... sham of a relationship. The thought made her feel guilty because there were so many things, bigger and more important, than her stupid inability to be in a relationship, so why was she so upset about the thought of it?
