Megan felt a bit guilty for not taking the moment seriously. She was honestly just trying to lighten the mood. When Wayne curled away in embarrassment the girl quickly interjected, "No...no...it's perfectly fine, honest. I just didn't see it coming was all." She placed a comforting hand on Wayne's knee.

"Come on don't be embarrassed," she smiled down at him. "It's just a kiss..." She titled her head and grinned an nonjudgmental form of amusement. "It was bound to happen between us sooner or later."
