Alfie was shivering, but Julien felt so steady, he thought he could risk dropping his hands. He slid them through Julien's grip on him, dropped them into his lap. "I don't either," He said, a little brokenly, and that was it. He just slumped further against his friend, and somehow his forehead ended up pressed to Julien's too.
