Where: Curmudgeon's Cauldrons and Apothecary. Knockturn Alley.

One of the better things about being an adult and not living with his mum anymore, was that Fred had had ample chances to explore Knockturn Alley. It deserved it's reputations, there were far too many people about that wouldn't be safe for ... say... Ginny, to be around. But Fred and George had always known their way around places they weren't supposed to be, and the little shops were useful sometimes, if you ignored the stares and the smells - two things that the Weasley twins were very good at ignoring after so many years practice.
Besides, you could get things at Curmudgeon's Cauldrons and Apothecary that Slug & Jiggers in Diagon proper would look crosseyed at you for. Legal things, even, just rare enough that they had a stigma. They were, however, key to quite a few things Fred and George liked to putter around with. Currently he was rethinking the itching concoction he'd worked up on the fly for Sam Capper last week. If he just tweaked it a bit, he thought it would be more stable. So, Fred headed for Curmudgeon's, wrinkling his nose a bit when he came in to the small shop, and poking around for the owner.
"Oi. You in back? Paying customer here!"
