WHO: Gretchen Watkins & Natalie McDonald
WHAT: Going out for drinks and probably sex knowing these two
WHERE: Diamond
WHEN: backdated to Thursday night
WARNING/RATING/STATUS: Drinking & potential adult situations/R for nowNC17/Ongoing

Gretchen fucking hated England. She hadn't felt this vehemently about the country when she was younger, but spending years with Trevor in Morocco and Egypt had left her with a severe distaste for the cold, wet bullshit of her current home. She couldn't exactly pick up and leave, though, she was fairly doomed to spend the rest of her life trailing after Trevor wherever he decided they should go next, like Keg had when he was younger.

She disliked that she couldn't wear something skimpy without having to either cover up, thereby defeating the purpose of said clothes, or constantly casting and recasting warming charms. She'd dressed up slightly, choosing a dark green dress that wasn't her usual style, so she'd foregone the cloak and was currently lounging against the wall outside Diamond, wishing Nat would hurry up so she could get inside and get warmer. She wondered if she should've urged the other woman to Apparate to the club or perhaps to outside the Troll's Head so she could have an escort, then wondered why she cared. Yeah, Nat was fun, but if she couldn't protect herself, that was her own bag. Then again, a hexed or murdered Quidditch player found outside Moribund's would likely draw very unwanted attention, especially given what Gretch was sure had happened to the Harpies' missing player.

Twirling her wand, she recast the warming charm, strengthening it and swallowing a curse at her inability to stand cold weather. She briefly debated moving towards the mouth of the Alley in the hopes that she'd run into Natalie on the way in, but didn't push off the wall. A new thought had occurred to her, that in some sort of crazy, random happenstance, Trevor had been moving to the pub as Natalie had been making her way down to Diamond and they'd run into each other. While nothing had changed with Trevor in the time since confessing her feelings, she also hadn't gone out with anyone but Tracey, who was more business associate than friend and who was straighter than something very straight. Given his reaction to Roger, she wasn't sure what he'd think of her going out with Nat and she tried to tell herself she didn't care.

She heaved a sigh and smoothed her dress, holding onto the side of the wall and raising her foot to adjust a strap on her heel as Natalie came round the corner and Gretch's lips curled into a small smile, despite herself.

Dropping back onto the pillows, Gretchen dropped one hand onto Nat's leg, tickling it absently, tucking the other under her head. "Oh, do you?" she asked, flashing a wicked smile up at Natalie. "I don't often have people make breakfast for me."

"Which is just a shame," Natalie laughed, squirming at the tickling. She fell down on the pillows beside Gretchen, stretching out on her side and propped herself up with one arm, looking down at the other woman. "I can not only make waffles but sausage, bacon and I'm rather handy with a tomato. C'mon," she jerked her head toward the door but made no immediate attempt to stand. "I am more than happy to make breakfast for you."
