"I did. I ended up at SOAS. It was pretty fantastic." He grinned. They had been his glory days; magic wasn't his strong point, ironically enough. "I mean, my family didn't mind at all - that's the sort of thing we did. Some of my friends thought it a little odd, but they didn't know anything." He glanced away for a second, draining his glass. "It was a bad time to be away, maybe, with everything that was going on. But ... I don't know. It's how things were." His only regret was not being able to do more during the war, but it wasn't as though he could have done much more than what he'd managed with his family.
