Entry tags:!2003:10, !backdated, !incomplete, alicia spinnet, amycus carrow

Who: Amycus Carrow and Alicia Spinnet
When: backdated to shortly after this and this
Where: Carrow hideout
What: Amycus has a lovely psychological torture to start with Alicia!
Rating: PG13? Probably lots of cussing.

When Amycus had gotten his pet while fleeing with Alecto and Rabastan during the war he really hadn't thought much about her. She would be something amusing to pass the time. Both he and Alecto would enjoy breaking her, making her scream and writhe and beg. Just something that was around simply to pass the days of hiding. He'd never actually expected her to last as long as she had and he certainly had never expected her to escape.

But escape she had and that escape had fueled Amycus's obsession. No one could ever claim that either of the Carrow siblings were sane. Alecto was most certainly the more boisterous, blood thirsty of the two, but that certainly didn't mean that Amycus was any more sane than she was. He was just normally happy to sit back and let Alecto have her fun and join in. Alicia escaping though had changed that. He wanted her back. She was a challenge, something for him to overcome and break so completely.

He had to have her back.

When he'd ran into the youngest Weasley boy he hadn't thought much of anything of it. It was a quick amusement. The Weasleys always proved to be amusing whenever he had dealings with them. (Of course they were annoying and needed to be killed as well, but amusing nonetheless.) When he'd posted his little innocuous entry in his journal he certainly hadn't expected what happened. All thanks to one little idiotic ginger he had a deal with one of the Snatchers of old to get his prized pet back without any true work on his part.

And when she was delivered... Oh it was so sweet. She was unconscious and bound and certainly a lot healthier looking than the last time Amycus had seen her. It didn't change anything though. He relished the thought of breaking her again. She'd been spunky before and he was positive that in the years that had passed she'd become spunky once more. He loved it when they were feisty. It was just so much fun!

Another innocuous journal entry went out, almost blatantly telling the world that he had her. And oh the replies! They were like icing on the cake! And it gave him such a delightfully wicked idea that he just had to go through with it. Picking up his journal he sauntered off, whistling a tune under his breath as he went. He had a happy little step as he went and a grin on his face. This would be fun. Oh so much fun!

"Wakey, wakey, my precious little pet! Today we're going to work more on breaking you," he sing-songed through the bars in the door as he looked in on Alicia. She was bound in the room still though he kept it simply to a collar locked around her neck that chained her to a hard cot and allowed her movement, but not enough to reach the door. There were no windows in the room, so she had no way of knowing what time of day it was. He was determined she wouldn't escape this time. No free movement for his precious pet any longer.

Pulling the door open Amycus dropped his wand on the table right outside the door. He wouldn't need it for this task and he certainly didn't want Alicia getting any ideas. He did, however, have his journal tucked under his arm but still in plain view. "I'm here to read you a bedtime story, darling."

Oh her reaction was priceless and Amycus was greatly enjoying it. It was always so much fun riling anyone up and riling up his pet and his pet's friends was always the best. All of them were so full of themselves and their abilities. They always thought that they could find him and give him the punishment they thought he deserved. The only problem was that Amycus was good at avoiding such things and hiding. If he wasn't then he would have been caught years ago, but so far he'd survived on from two wars.

"Now, now. I'm trying to do something nice. I'm sure you want to hear some of the things your friends have said!" Amycus called out, finding the entry he was looking for and letting his eyes scan over the multitude of comments he'd received. Which one to share first? They were all so lovely!

"Your dearest little friend, Johnson, says she's going to kill me one day. She's determined I've got you just because I said blondes were more fun then gingers. I'm thinking that perhaps she just feels left out because I haven't mentioned brunettes." He wondered if he could rile her up again. "And of course then there is one of those Weasley twins. He offered to exchange himself for you. Isn't that sweet? Doesn't that make you feel loved? What do you say, Ali, want to to exchange you for a Weasley? After all there are a ton of them and only one of you."

He, of course, had absolutely no plans on doing such a thing, but he was interested to hear what her reply would be. He was certainly that she'd spit something about leaving her friends alone and the like. She was definitely not the point of trying to bargain like the Weasley had tried. Not that he'd thought the Weasley would hold up his end of it and be alone, but still.

"You stay away from them," She said, and even chained and helpless there was something like a thread in her voice. Yes, she'd gotten back most of her spirit.

And it was terrible, because she could imagine Ange and the twins, so willing to kill him, to turn over the world to find her. And even with that drive, the last time it had taken two years, and Carrow had had time now to prepare better. Taking her had been an afterthought, then.

"Why gingers?" She asked, worried about Ginny Weasley. Had Carrow been eyeing her?

"I don't really think you're in the position to be making demands. Wouldn't you like to have a little friend here with you, pet?" He had absolutely no intention of having anyone else snatched, but making her think that would be nice. She'd get angrier and more hysterical about keeping her friends safe. She might say or do something even more amusing.

He tilted his head at her question. "Why gingers? Because I ran into one the other day. He was most amusing. So full of himself." He'd seemed so certain he'd get his way and when he'd realized that Amycus was someone of interest he'd seemed so certain he could handle it alone. "So brash and arrogant because of a little uniform. I thought I'd teach him a little that some people care little for it."

In reality he could have done a lot worse. He hadn't even hurt the boy. Well perhaps his pride, but no actual physical pain. As much as he would have enjoyed causing him a great deal of pain he knew he couldn't draw that sort of attention in Knockturn Alley. They weren't too near his darling sister's store, but he wouldn't risk it. He wouldn't risk her for the world.

The idea of having friend here with her - the threat that wasn't even thinly veiled in that - shut Ali up for now. There was nothing he could do to her that wasn't a thousand times worse when she thought about another of her friends having to suffer it with her, because of her. She thought of Fred and George and Ron - hell, even Percy - and shut her mouth, eyes casting down at her own feet. Not at him. Better not to give him anything that he took as a challenge.

"Oh dear. Did that upset you, pet? Don't like that idea? I thought you'd have been thrilled to get one of your little friends here with you. That way you could be close." He didn't honestly think that, but her reaction was amusing. He wondered how much of a reaction he could get from her tonight before he left her alone. He also wondered just how far he would go tonight. This psychological torture was definitely proving to be quite fun, but he did so enjoy it when they screamed as well.

"If you don't want to talk to me then we might just have to move this show forward."

His idea of moving things forward made her shudder, but she kept her eyes down - even though she knew it would do no good. She'd thought, once, that if she was passive he'd get tired of it. That hadn't ever worked.
