"Anxious doesn't even start to cover it. You wouldn't believe the day I've had. It's like they knew I was trying to leave town." He didn't know whether he would tell her about Carrow, at least not tonight. It wasn't that he thought she would insist on doing something (although he wasn't sure she wouldn't) - he didn't want to upset her, though. And it had put him out of sorts for hours.
"Let's go, then. There's a pub not too far off that's on the Floo network, and we can walk." He kissed her cheek, relieved to be on the way and all too ready to feel the weight of work lifting off him.
