Who: Myron Wagtail and Donaghan Tremlett.
When: September 26th. Early evening.
Where: Don's place.
What: Weird Sister visit!
Rating: PG for potty words?
Status: Closed/Incomplete.

Myron was rather well known for being impulsive. For deciding things spur of the moment and then doing them. Which was what had him on his way over to Don's place without owling ahead. He decided to visit his bandmate and then set out to do just that.

He walked the short way he had left with his usual swagger, tight trousers clinging to his legs and hanging low on his hips, t-shirt nicely fitted, a leather jacket over top, a scarf strung around his neck, various bracelets and cuffs on his wrists. Looking like an off duty rock star - well, imagine that! He had a grin on his face and his curly hair bobbed a bit as he strode along, until he reached the front door.

Myron stepped up and rapped smartly on the door before leaning back, tucking his hands into his pockets. He was pretty sure he could hear the pitter patter of three sets of running feet coming from inside. How Don did it, he had no idea. Myron liked the triplets, but from a distance. Or being able to rile them up and hand them back. That was much more fun.

"That's for me to know and you to ponder." In reality he wasn't certain he could remember every visit he'd had with Orsino and how many had been good, non-cranky visits and which ones had been cranktastic. But he was used to inflicting himself on Orsino and that made him wonder if perhaps the triplets were his cosmic payback... Not that he didn't love them! But they were so utterly wild.

"I wouldn't say pleasure is the feeling they bring up. Perhaps the need to maim you." Like he'd thought earlier, the need to grab him by the ear and put him in the corner for time out. He had a feeling that Myron's mum had put him in time out a lot, like a lot lot, and that it didn't do any good. He wasn't certain he'd ever have wanted to have met Myron when he was primary school age.

"We have magic. Elizabeth doesn't. And since she doesn't she's going to react like anyone who doesn't to such a mess. And that's with anger. Loads and loads of anger." Myron had to know this. He came from a muggle background just like Don did. Perhaps he'd simply forgotten surrounded by magic all the time. Don lived in the muggle world with a wonderful muggle wife raising their children in a very muggle fashion. He wouldn't forget. Ever.

"Don't you sass me, young man," Don bit out before blinking slowly and replaying the words in his head. Did he really just say that? He was his father, it was official. How... lovely.

The little thief grinned amusedly up at Myron as he talked and stuffed the slobber covered sweets in the mouth in front of him with a giggle before pulling his hand back and taking a chocolate from one of the others and popping it in his own mouth happily. He'd shared like a good little boy and that was all that mattered.

"Tasty, innit?" He'd had plenty of soggy, slobbery treats shoved in his mouth before. He had to admit that mushy cookies were terrible as were gnawed on bananas. "At least what you got wasn't nearly as bad as what you could have been given."

Myron had been no stranger to time out! He'd had a corner for a while, until his Mum had caught him drawing on the wall during his Time Out, and then it had been the bottom step, where she could keep an eye on him from a number of places (and made sure to clean out his pockets first, of any drawing tools and anything else messy!).

"She's not used to it yet?" he asked. It was a bit of a shock to some people though. Myron had taken to magic like a fish took to water. It was flashy and you could do so many cool things! Of course he had adored it. As soon as he had gotten his grabby hands on his wand and had gotten to school he had wanted to try everything. At least, outside the classroom. He'd never been the best student, mostly from lack of interest in staying in classes.

Myron's curly head turned again, and this time an eyebrow raised. "Did you just call me 'young man'?" he asked, his grin growing, and a snicker slipping out. "Well, you got the 'man' part right at least. And I am young at heart." Two years older than Don, but hey, Don was doing the husband and daddy thing, so he was older in that way. Myron couldn't even handle a house plant yet.

"Well, it's still chocolate, even if it's covered in triplet spit. Still, think I prefer my sweets dry," he laughed. "I should be honoured that he shared though."

He stood then. "I always feel so tall when I come here," he said as he looked down on the three little heads.

"It's not like she's all that welcome everywhere magical just because we're married," Don replied, frowning a bit at Myron. "She's seen me use magic and she's fascinated and all, but since we live in muggle London we decided that it's easier to keep magic to a minimum. Which means that most things get cleaned up the long way," he said pointedly, trying to get it across that he'd appreciate if no big messes were made this time.

"Sssh," Don said, putting his finger to his lips and making down motions with his other hand as though trying to keep Myron quiet. He really didn't want to be reminded of what he'd said, especially since he knew that Myron was older. It just... slipped out! He couldn't help what came out sometimes! His mouth was starting to go into permanent dad mode or something!

"Darn right you should! The little thief is normally the last to share." Don figured the only reason he'd offered to share was because he could tell Don was annoyed with them getting sweets and didn't want them taken a way. In his mind as long as he did something good then nothing he considered bad could happen.

He quirked an eyebrow at that, looking from Myron to the triplets. "Of course you do! They're what? Like three foot tall?" If that. It was amazing how tiny they were when they were born. Don used to be afraid that he was going to break them just touching them and they'd had to spend so much time at the hospital. He still sometimes was afraid he'd break them.

"P'ay, Un'ca My'on? Dada?" The little thief was beckoning them into the sitting room and pointing toward the pile of toys on the floor. And without waiting for a response he turned and toddled off, the two others following along behind him until he plopped down with the building blocks and started to construct... something.

Somehow, the waving 'down' motions that Don made only made Myron grin bigger, like the cat that just got the cream. "Are you going to threaten me with a Time Out soon?" he asked him, laughter sparkling in his eyes and threatening to slip from his lips.

"Well, that's because I'm his favourite Uncle." Of the non-related variety, but really, he might as well have been a genuine Uncle. The Weird Sisters were like family, after all. They even bickered like family, a lot of the time. Like honest to goodness brothers.

"If that," he agreed, reaching down to pat one of them on the head. Because they were at the perfect height for head patting. And their hair was so soft. Why was what? Why did little kids have such soft hair?

"I think they want us to play," Myron said with a grin to Don, before he was climbing over the gate (because he was not three feet tall!) and wandering in after them, so sit down with the triplets and join them in their building. Sometimes, he was just a giant kid at heart.

Sometimes dealing with Myron was trying and quite tiring. It was like he had four children instead of three. He so never planned on having any more children then what they had right now. "You keep it up and I just might. And since you go on and on about magic, well, I'll make it a magical time out." Meaning he would so petrify him in a corner if he had to. Which was actually a nice idea...

"Favorite Uncle?" Don repeated incredulously, laughing a bit. "I wouldn't go that far. I think it's because he knows he can get you to play easier than he can some of the others." Of course most of the Weird Sisters would give in to them eventually. Most of the Weird Sisters were big kids despite trying to act like they weren't. Myron definitely gave in the easiest.

"They'll get bigger and I dread that. They're so much easier to scoop up now." He wouldn't be able to scoop all of them up at once like he could do now in a year or two or possibly even less. He liked them small and easier to manage like this even if they were little hellions.

"I think they always want us to play," Don pointed out, watching as Myron climbed over the kiddy gate. With a sigh he stepped over himself to join them. It wouldn't do for Myron to end up with blocks in his pants or some such thing. "Though the little thief is just going to build it up and knock it down."

"That sounds awfully mean," Myron informed him with a little, tiny bit of a pout. Just a little. "I like magic. It's handy. And just wait until these three get wands." If they were Magical. But chances were fairly good that they would be - some of them, at least.

It was hard to resist the cuteness, really. That was Mother Nature's plan to be sure. Making children adorable, so adults would do their bidding. All big eyes and fluffy hair and winesome smiles, even when they had done something naughty. Myron channeled a bit of that himself, in fact!

"Bigger and louder and eventually they'll want to bring girls home. Or boys." He shrugged. Myron was fairly equal opportunity in that respect. Boys, girls, vampires, werewolves, merfolk...

"Well, can you blame them?" he asked as he started to pile blocks in a careful manner. "Adults don't do enough playing, really." Well, aside from a special sort of 'adult play' that he wasn't going to mention around the little ones! Little pitchers and big ears and all of that.

And then he grinned wide. "Should hope so. Knocking them down's the best part."

“Well it’s only a punishment that I’ll use with you,” Don replied, crossing his arms over his chest as she stared him down. He wouldn’t honestly, but the temptation was definitely there. “Them with wands?” Did he pale? Because he felt like all the blood had drained out of his face. He felt kind of faint at the idea. “I’d love for them to have magic, but I think I’d also love it if they didn’t.” He knew how cruel the magical world could be.

For Don resisting the cute was easy. Of course he had practice day in and day out of these three staring up at him and trying to convince him that they hadn’t done anything wrong. Oh he’d certainly fallen for it when they were younger and he hadn’t realized how devious they were, but he’d grown out of the cuteness of it a long time ago.

“No. No dating. Ever.” Don shuddered at the idea of any of these three dating. They already seemed to have the majority fo women they met wrapped around their tiny fingers with just a flash of their blue eyes and a shy grin. He couldn’t imagine what they’d be like when they got older. It was a daunting, scary idea.

“Adults without children don’t do enough play perhaps.” Don was quite certain he did enough play to last him for years to come. The triplets were always trying to drag him into playing something with them. He did have to put his foot down though when they started trying to stuff things down his pants or shirt. That definitely wasn’t fun.

Still he moved over to the four of them and sat down, mentally adding Myron to the kids in his mind. “Maybe, but I think he upsets the other two sometimes when they’re still building and he knocks it all down.”

Don paled and Myron grinned more. "I think they'll have magic," he guessed. There was just something about them. That impish spirit. That winesome charm. Not that that meant anything, but he had a feeling. "And it will be brilliant because you'll be able to teach them things. Won't be like you and me, thrust into it all new. You'll be there." The triplets wouldn't be Muggleborn.

"Yeah, you say that now, but when they come home batting eyelashes and talking about pretty girls and boys... well, they can always come to me," he said with a wink as he stacked some blocks and made a bit of an arch. "I'll give them advice." That.. was a scary thought.

"Mmm. Maybe that's why people really have kids. So they can play again," he guessed. It was awfully fun. Although he wasn't sure things like diaper changing and feeding and grounding and all that would be as fun. And vomiting. Children were messy.

But this, this was fun. He started making a little tower to go with his arch. "Well then put him in the time out chair?" he said as he worked. "He's definitely the leader of the pack. Kinda like me," he said with a grin, because he might have been the front man but he wasn't really the leader of anything. Leading things took work and Myron just to just do.

"Still think you should have named one of them Myron."
