"That sounds good. Making progress I guess? Do you have a spot picked out yet, in Hogsmeade? Or does that part come later? I will be happy to go over it for you, if you want. Maybe tomorrow?" he said, thinking that he would be sure to take advantage of being out of Hogwarts and extend his chance to spend time with her, "I can always meet you for breakfast if you like. I don't have to rush back to the school," he offered, his voice trailing off slightly, "If you don't have any other commitments tomorrow?"
He found he liked this position they were in, his arm around her, his fingers tracing her skin. He wasn't in any hurry to get her out on the dance floor; for the present, being this close to her suited him just fine.
"I am really sorry about last week. The students..well, they had some odd ideas of what constituted a good time and it was my job to clarify it with them. I think they got the message. Days of detention will do that to you," he said, leaning into her ear so that he could speak to her during an especially loud song. Her hair smelled do good, as did her skin, so he let his lips stay there, and he kissed her.
