"You're going to meet a dog, Tweak," Oriel told his kitten as he got the carrier ready so he could transport the little feline. He had lined it with a nice, soft blanket, and out a couple small toys in, so Tweak would have something to occupy himself with. The kitten was not paying him any mind at the moment, and was chasing a little ball around the room, scampering and sliding on tiny paws, his little tail whipping about.

Oriel thought it important for Tweak to meet other animals, so he could grow up being used to having other creatures around. Incase Oriel ever got another cat some day, or a rabbit or a dog, or something else, because he did adore animals so.

"Alright, you," he smiled and picked up the kitten and tucked him into the carrier, closing the door. Tweak yoweled, but then spotted a cat nip toy mouse in there and pounced on it, rolling about. Oriel could feel the carrier moving about as he held it, and smiled.

He knew where Luna lived, and so he took out his wand and apparated to her backyard. Luna was great. She was his boss, but she wasn't like a scary boss or an intimidating boss, or anything like that. She was nice and interesting and sweet. Carrying Tweak's carrier, he went to the door and knocked.

Luna had been telling Cyril that he had to be on his best behaviour for when Oriel brought Tweak over. She was pretty certain the puppy had never seen a cat before but hopefully the adage wasn't true and dogs and cats could get along.

The wards let her know that Oriel had arrived and she picked up Cyril to take him to the garden. Giving Oriel a wave Luna smiled. "Glad you made it. Are we ready to try the grand experiment?"

Oriel hoped they would get along. He thought Tweak was young enough to be open to the concept - all the instincts and habits hadn't settled in him yet after all. He smiled when the door opened, Luna appearing, with Cyril in tow.

"Hello," he said in his flat voice as he read the words from her lips, giving a little wave of his own. He smiled and nodded. "I am." And then he crouched down and set the carrier on the grass. Opening the door, Tweak poked out his little head, and then tentative stepped out onto the grass, nose and whiskers twitching as he sniffed everything.

	Waiting until Oriel had released Tweak, Luna slowly lowered the squirming puppy to the ground. Cyril was very curious about this new person visiting his garden and the creature sniffing around didn't look like the wild bunnies he liked to try and play with. The puppy ran over to the kitten very excited to see if it wanted to play. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"This is Tweak," Oriel introduced, although that was probably apparent. "Tweak, this is Luna and Cyril." The kitten wasn't paying attention, but was looking quite intently at the dog. Head tilted to the side, just a little bit, as if trying to figure out precisely what to make of it.

Tweak had seen other kittens - his littermates, back in the pet shop - and a Pygmy Puff, and birds and an owl. But never a dog before. The kitten made a little "Mrrrr" sound as he padded forward on little paws - and then lifted a paw to bop Cryil on the nose, before taking off.

Luna watched with amusement as the kitten moved towards Cyril, bopped him on the nose and then took off. The puppy hadn't been sure what to make of it rolling back on his hind legs and looking up at Luna in confusion. Letting out a laugh, she pushed him forward with her foot. "Go on Cyril, I think he wants to play."

Cyril let out a short bark before running after the kitten. Hopefully they wouldn't play too rough when they caught up with each other. "I think that's a good start," she told Oriel.

Tweak had run off a ways and then slowed and looked back, as if expecting to be followed. The kitten was a playful little fellow, to be sure, and quite good natured, which Oriel enjoyed.

He looked back at Luna's face so he could read her lips and smiled. "I think so," he agreed with a nod, his fingers absently signing the words as he spoke, out of habit. "Did you want to sit down?" Since the pair of animals couldn't escape from the backyard in any way.
