He was good at staring people down and was even better at making people that stared at him turn away when he returned their gaze but Susan ended up winning this one. He couldn't seem to stare back at her for long as something about her had his face feeling unnaturally hot. He didn't blush, but he was damned close. Marcus averted his gaze to the stool that magically scooted forward.
He sat and began fidgeting at once.
"Nah..."
A leg started to bounce with the heel of his boot on the lowest rung of the stool. When she lowered her gaze to the goggles he took the time to watch her. She was pretty. He had recalled her being as such but now, even though she was dressed in a poor manner (in his opinion as he did prefer dressing up to dressing down any day), she was actually quite stunning. Marcus felt his stomach knot up anxiously.
It was as if he felt guilty for finding a girl attractive when he knew he had knocked up another. Before he could think more about it though she was handing back the goggles and he was pulling them on. They magnified his eyes quite a bit and he knew he had to look stupid but for the most part.. things seemed clearer. He made a face and blinked owlishly.
