Zacharias slapped a hand down on the table, and pushed back his own chair. "Oh no you don't," he said with a shake of his head, his blue eyes narrowing as he watched Merlin leave the shop. He huffed out an impatient, frustrated noise of exasperation, and then followed, leaving his scone and drink mostly untouched.
He pushed through the doors, dodging a woman who was coming in, and then caught up to Merlin outside. Literally, because he reached out and tangled his fingers into the back of the other man's shirt to catch him.
"Stop walking," he said. "Honestly, are you this uppity over everything? If you saw something about me, I want to know what it was. So, out with it."
