WHO: Daphne Greengrass & Nikolas Vaisey
WHAT: Daphne needs to talk to Nik about everything.
WHERE: Random empty classroom.
WHEN: Close to curfew - Monday.
RATING: R - language, definitely, and who knows what else?

The owl came earlier that day, the well anticipated owl telling Daphne if she didn't wed Nikolas that she would be disgracing this family, and while they could not rightfully force her to marry him she had not options least she be written out of her inheritance. It infuriated her that her parents could hold this much control over her even though she was considered an adult. On top of that, she had nasty bruises marring her perfect complexion around her abdomen from the squid. While most of the time Daphne's expressions were hard to read, today she looked exceptionally sour and disgusted. She lost a perfectly good pair of shoes in the lake from the other day, the squid laid claim to her sweater, and her skirt and shirt and tie were ruined. She had to throw them out to prevent herself from vomiting, they were dirty and smelled of.... lake. She certainly hoped things could get better, but with the arrival of that owl from her parents, she was suddenly feeling hopeless. This wasn't supposed to happen to girls like her, she was pretty enough to find a husband for herself. She knew the only reason why her parents agreed to this was because of the benefits that would come from both families uniting. But why did they have to pick Daphne for this?

Informing Nikolas that they needed to meet was a necessity. She needed to know what his parents were thinking of this. Bloody hell, why did it have to be Nikolas Vaisey? The most obscene, and intolerable bloke in the school. He was the epitome of what she did not want in a husband, and yet, irony had to kick her in the ass and do this to her! It wasn't fair! Setting up to meet him at an empty classroom before curfew, Daphne made sure to get there a few minutes early just to make sure the room was actually empty. Owl from her parents was crumpled into a fist, as she decided to wait. Mind began to race with ideas of what to say to him, what does one say to a boy that she is for lack of a better term, being forced to marry? 'Hey, how's the weather? So... we're getting married'?! No, that's bloody stupid, and fuck, she didn't want to marry him in the first place. Why did so many things have to be so difficult?! This was the year where she is was supposed to relax, to take it easy, and enjoy her final year at Hogwarts. Now? Now everything was falling apart, and things were getting more confusing than before.

Leaning back against the edge of a desk, head tilted down, allowing those brown strands to shadow her dull-blue gaze. Staring down at the floor, she tried to calm her mind. Surely, together they could come up with a solution. Still dressed in her uniform, robes were left back in the common room, considering the day was practically over, she would have no need for them. A clean, crisp white shirt hugged her slender frame, sleeves rolled up to her elbows, as the Slytherin crest as sewn neatly upon the front of her shirt as that green and silver tie was straightened and perfectly aligned around her neck. Black skirt hugged her hips, as a pair of white knee highs accented those sinfully long legs. A new pair of shiny patent leather Mary Janes heels completed the ensemble. Any boy would be damn lucky to have a girl like Daphne Greengrass, and she had a feeling the Vaisey's knew that, it was her parents who might not have realized what a catch this girl was. Sure she didn't have the charming personality like her sister, but she wasn't anything bad to look at.

Nik blustered his way through the halls toward the classroom that Daphne had designated him. Since he had received the owl, he actually hadn't given much thought to it. His parents, delusional as they were, had absolutely no control over him and they hadn't for years now. His mother hated even the sight of him, so he was hard pressed to figure out why they were trying to grasp at straws with this attempt to marry him off to the girl of their choice. They knew he wouldn't do it, they knew he'd tell them to go fuck themselves, so he could not see what their angle was and how this was going to benefit them. There was a game being played here that he had yet to figure out, but if he spoke with Daphne, maybe she'd have an idea.

When he reached the classroom, he opened the door to be greeted by the ever beautiful, ever attractive Daphne, an obvious contrast to the ill-dressed boy that was now facing her. The pant leg to Nik's trousers was stuck inside one of his shoes, he'd skipped a button toward the bottom of his shirt to where the left side of the shirt now hung lower than the right, his tie was slung around his neck in an unfortunate excuse for a knot, the loop hanging so large below his chin he could probably fit Goyle through it and to top it off his robes were hanging open to show this disastrous dress to all who laid eyes on him. Obviously Daphne was out of his league, if he were to even have a league. He didn't.

"So did you want us to discuss our wedding vows in preparation for the big day?" His voice dripped with a pathetic excuse for sarcasm. He shut the door behind him and leaned against a vacant school desk, looking at her chest before he actually looked at her face.

The contrast between them was like day and night, the moment he stepped into the room, Daphne audibly groaned. Lifting her fingers to pinch the bridge of her nose in frustration, she could feel his eyes leering at her chest before drifting up to her face. "Oh, come off it, Vaisey. We're not getting married, and you need to convince your parents that you can't go through this." Tossing the letter that was owled to her at him, it was his choice whether to read it or just let it hit his forehead. Personally, Daphne would have preferred for it to hit his head, however, him being a Quidditch player and all, he's reflexes were likely faster than she hoped.

"My mother and father have blatantly stated that if I don't marry you I am to be written out of my inheritance," The more Daphne thought about it, the more angry she got. This wasn't fair, and while it was true they couldn't force her to marry Vaisey, they could sure as hell write her out of the inheritance if she didn't marry him. "You need fix this, somehow your bloody delusional parents think this will benefit them. I told my parents everything I could, but they won't bloody listen, it's your turn to convince your parents."

Daphne was awfully demanding, and frustrated, and the more she became frustrated the more she became anxious. Her mind was racing at a million miles a minute, and her thoughts and actions became so jumbled with her words. She was becoming so anxious that she needed an outlet before she exploded. Hand instantly darted to snatch at his tie and pull him closer. "And for fucks sake, Vaisey, tie your tie properly." Untying his tie whether he wanted her to or not, she proceeded to loop is correctly around his neck, not being at all gentle and making sure he wouldn't be allowed to squirm without being gagged.
