He did make an awfully good point, not that she was going to go parading around saying it was his color she wore but she had no problem saying it was "weasley red." If the twins did find out... well, they could only assume and she wasn't good about keeping things that she didn't think needed to be a secret.
"Well.. well.. dash it all," she looked sorely disappointed and did a fairly good job at pouting when he said thank you. Then, she smiled and set her wand to her head anyway.
"It's okay, I think, maybe seeing a red like yours will make mine turn out better. Let's see.."
The charm was simple enough for her, she performed it all the time, but the concentration had to be on the shade and the words spoken had to reflect the color she wanted. Her face screwed up as she did the charm and sure enough not ten seconds later a glimmer of color spread through her hair in one sweeping motion from root to tip.
It wasn't exactly his shade, but it wasn't half as pink as it used to be, but she had no mirror to look into either.
