Trixie Brooke ([info]knotgrasswitch) wrote in [info]wished,
Megan was having a pretty normal day. She'd gotten everything she needed done at work today done so they let her go early. Unfortunately there was only so much you could do while waiting for plants to mature. So, she didn't complain and left work happy that she had an entire afternoon to get things done. Not that she had a large list of things to get done, but it was nice knowing that she wasn't going to be running errands after a long shift at work.

So her last stop of the afternoon was the grocery. She'd wandered down the isle and seriously wondered about what some people considered food these days. Deciding to give up on trying to find anything that sounded good, she just stuck to the basics, figuring she could always run back out later or something. Some bread, cheese, and a couple of apples later Megan stood in line to check out. There was a man in front of her who looked vaguely familiar but for the moment Megan was having trouble placing him. So she decided to just go for it and see where it lead. Classic Jones behavour.

"These things always seem to be the longest when you've only got a few things, yeah?" she said her way of starting up a conversation to scratch her curiosity.
