The whole show kind of did put Maisie in a bit of a better mood, but only because it was so dramatic and over-blown that it seemed like she was watching something on the telly. At least what she’d said was being taken into account, because now more than ever, going home and just relaxing was seeming like a good idea. Perhaps she’d even pop in an old film and watch a gentleman tend to a damsel in distress.
He was just standing there with that damned grin of his...he always seemed to make all the girls swoon at his feet. She was determined not to, even if she did always wonder if he would ever so much as look at her. Girls like Maisie were pretty, for sure, but never really got noticed by a lot of the boys. She thought about saying nevermind, about just leaving it as it was and walking away, but Eddie obviously didn’t know who she was, and that bothered her a little for some reason, “We went to school together,” she supplied, a bit quietly, but audible to him at any rate. Hogwarts wasn’t something really to be discussed in a muggle grocery, “I’m a few years younger, but I guess you made an impression.” She might as well have fun with it, if she’d brought attention to herself.
