honey, I ain't ever seen eyes like yours.
who: Eddie Carmichael and whoever wants to bump into this pretty boy.
what: He is buying groceries in Muggle London and is chatting up the cashier.
when: Late afternoon/early evening.
where: Grocery store.
rating/warning: Eddie's a shameless flirt?
Eddie leaned over the counter and grinned at the girl ringing up his groceries. "Miss...Delaney, is that right? As I was saying, I'm about three miles out into the middle of the Pacific, right? We're on this rickety little boat. Just me and some mates heading out for some deep-sea fishing before we pitched the tent for the night."
The cashier, a pretty girl with dark hair and bright eyes named Delaney, listened to his story as she punched in the code for a half-pound of apples. Delaney looked at him curiously. "You go camping, too?"
"Of course I do, m'lady," he watched as Delaney blushed at being addressed like that, "all the time. I go all-out, too." Eddie stretched his arms out, as if to say Hey, look at how buff I am! even though he knew he was rather skinny. "When my mates and I go, we catch our own fish and build our own fires and all those other terribly manly things."
Delaney laughed and totaled out his purchase. "You must have tons of fun." She looked distant for a moment. "You know, Eddie, I always laugh when you come in here."
Eddie winked at her. "I just do my job to keep a pretty girl happy. You are worthy of the utmost serenity, my dear lady," he said with a bow. "Perhaps I should have brought you lunch? Or maybe a carrot cake from across the street?" He had seen her eating carrot cake on her break once.
"Oh, you don't have to do that..."
"But what kind of man would I be if I left you here to starve on your shift? Come now."
