Stepping back from the door, Shannon gestured him in. "I don't mind taking free ice cream from strange men," she smiled, shutting the door after him. "Kitchen or living room?" she asked, after a moment of standing awkwardly in the foyer.

This was all a bit surreal. She had to interact with famous people frequently for her job, so she'd learnt to swallow her excitement whilst in the moment and freak out later. But this wasn't a job. This was Kirley Duke, in her house, bringing her ice cream. It was definitely throwing her ability to remain cool and she kept smiling at him, her hand twisting around her back and toying with the ends of her hair.
