Su glanced over at Pansy, who was vigorously shaking the unicorn back and forth, intermittent snarls mingling with the squeaking toy. Lazily, Su snatched her wand off of the bedside table and pointed it at the toy. "Silencio!" The squeaking ceased, and though the growls continued, they weren't nearly as annoying.
"I think she's happy with...that." She waved her hand dismissively but the expression on her face showed plainly that Su was very fond of the dog. "Anyway, good thing about the cooties. Close quarters like these, we could cause an outbreak in no time."
She took a swig of the scotch before handing the bottle off to Anthony. There was no doubt in Su's mind that she liked the drink, but every time she took that first step she couldn't help making a face. It always managed to take her by surprise. "Whoops, you were right, I'm demolished."
With an exaggerrated motion, Su flopped back onto her pillow and kicked her feet in the air. Smirking, she turned her head to look up at Anthony. "So. Should we start the lambasting now, or wait until our tongues are a bit looser from drinking?"
