As Anthony arrived home from a day at work and a handful of hours within the Leaky, it was more or less amusing for him. He wasn't how to take the night in, especially with a pint of Firewhiskey already in his system. Not one to drink all too often, he accomlished that sporadically throughout the months. Mostly it was when things in his life became too much, like his best friend being wittled away from him from a beast of a woman. Honestly, how could one deal with the likes of Pansy and her cronies? Her lessor friends were really nothing, but sometimes it became tiredsome arguing with the bat. It didn't help that Michael just let whatever his wife say towards his best friend without any sort of conversation. Of course, things of the sort were as such for quite sometime, not to forget Anthony's thoughts lingered just as much. Michael changed and it wasn't for the better, of course, that was merely his opinion.
It only took a few notes back and forth between his flatmate and himself, before Anthony ventured into Su's room once invited. Sometimes it was funny that they lived in the same area, but took a liking to writing each other through their journals, even in the same room. Usually ignoring that fact, Anthony tossed the journal to the side. Vaguely hearing the book hit the table and slide to the ground, there was no expression upon him that seemed to mind at the moment.
Just as he turned the door knob into Su's room, he had just enough time to undo his tie just a little for it to hang loosely before hearing her voice call out towards him. A small grin was shown brightly on his facial features. That was what he needed. More alcohol. "You've been holding out on me, haven't you?" he asked in a teasing sort of tone. He did wonder at times why he let things get to him sometimes. Of course, he could take a punch and dish one out right back to his best friend's wife without a problem, but then he felt kind of dirty since he associated that behavior with foreplay for the Corners. A slight shutter went down his spine as he plopped himself down on his side upon the mattress, frightening Pan in the process.
"I bet you got a whole stash of liquor under your bed!" he exclaimed jokingly.
