"Nope, just my usual boring self," Maeve sneered, not lowering her wand. The way she saw it, Felicity could only have had the chance to look at the book for a few precious seconds before she had it back, but she didn't know if that was long enough to put two and two together. But the other girl acted convincingly enough like she hadn't seen it. She had lived with Felicity for five years now and knew first hand how brilliant of an actress the girl could be when needed.
"It's research," she said, lowering her wand as she watched Felicity try to leave. "You know the Carrows will be pleased with any student that turns in mudbloods, I was trying to look up a few," she folded her arms petulantly, doing her best to look dismayed at the prospect of sharing her master plan with someone else.
