Felicity had debated between going to dinner and following her dormmate to wherever she was so furtively heading. In the end, curiosity won out over hunger and she trailed behind the girl. She hadn't come upstairs intending to stalk Maeve, she'd just noticed the other girl and her behaviour had been too intriguing to pass up further inspection.
She trailed the other girl to the library and inwardly sighed, hoping she hadn't misread body language and was about to be spying on a study session. But then again, who came to the library to study during dinner? Maybe Maeve was meeting someone, Felicity pondered, ducking after her through the increasingly dusty stacks. That could be interesting.
Not that Felicity liked watching other students snog, but if Maeve was sneaking around, it was obviously someone or something she wanted to keep a secret and Felicity did like secrets.
So far Maeve had just grabbed several books from the shelves and settled down and Felicity clung to one of the shelves, trying to see through the books and catch a title. She was unable to and frowned, moving closer and tripping over a stack of books someone had left in the aisle.
Maeve heard that, there was no doubt, and Felicity shook her head, then rounded the corner, pulling a surprised face. "Maeve!" she simpered, delicately settling herself down across from the girl. "Didn't you hear me calling?"
