It seemed terribly old-fashioned to Lucy the more she thought about it. She knew quite little of the culture of the Pureblood wizarding society, she admit that much. However, it was hard to imagine that after all this time, parents would still think to choose their child's partner. She found the idea horrifying, to say the least. But as she looked up at Nikolas, she had a feeling that relaying such thoughts to Nikolas would be redundant.
"What you're supposed to be doing," she repeated, though she made a mental note to stop that before she started to feel like a puppet. "Would that be focusing on your studies? Or focusing on Daphne Greengrass?"
Her brows furrowed for a moment as she said the name. She had developed much more sympathetic feelings for Daphne over the course of the week, but that didn't mean she liked her any more.
