Characters: Trev Scabior and Gretchen Watkins, Open to any other Snatchers
Setting: Hogsmeade, Scotland, Wednesday evening near sunset.
Summary: Trevor goes out to get up to no good and runs into a familiar face.
Rating: TBD
"Another for the road, Aberforth," Trevor called out as he dug through the many pockets lining his robe. He emptied them of a handful of gold coins, a few softly buzzing charms, a scrap of paper lined on both sides with tight, messy scrawl and finally the pocket watch he'd been looking for. The face was covered with dials and runes and hand more hands watches tended to. Even he forgot what half the shit on it meant. All that mattered was he wasn't late yet, he was almost positive of that.
Trev scooped all but the coins into his pocket as a glass of whisky was set in front of him and he grumbled a thanks as the barkeep took his gold and retreated. He downed the drink and washed it down with a few stale peanuts from the bowl nearby. They tasted like someone had dumped beer on them and used the bar rag to dry them off. But he figured it wouldn't be the Hogshead if it was high brow and he liked the Hogshead because it was the Hogshead.
He fell off his stool, with an unsteady landing, and shoved his way through the pub's crowd. The sun was close to setting but still flooded Hogsmeade with enough light to see by. Trevor headed down the highstreet and pulled the crumpled list out of his pocket again, glancing over the names he'd penned down. "Ma'ma dear, d'you never hear," he sung under his breath, "of pretty Molly Brannigan?" He hoped the mudblood had something decent in their place or at least worth fencing.
