It wasn't all that uncommon to see Gladio up during the earlier hours of the morning. In warmer weather, you'd find the hulk of a man out for a run or training outside near the house. Even in the cool of winter it was highly likely to find him out there still. Entertaining that very idea, Gladio appeared from his room, stretching his arms over his head as he went. You could probably say they'd all gotten somewhat soft since coming here, but it wasn't a bad thing. Sure, Gladio might give Noct shit per the usual, but they didn't have to be made of the hardest stuff around now. There weren't fights to be had on the daily and while part of Gladio might have missed that, he would take them being whole like this any day over where they ended up in the end of it all.
Finding Iggy and Prom on the couch wasn't common though. While Gladio's initial reaction might be to tease them about what went on last night, all it took was one look at Iggy's face to tell him that wasn't the case even at all. Tilting his head in consideration, Gladio let Iggy gather himself up and send Prom off to bed - but not without an affectionate hair ruffling from Gladio as he passed by. If Prom was shuffling off to bed like that and Iggy had those tired eyes, something happened for sure. What he could guess at, though in the end it was something he needed to hear from Iggy directly. How much he pressed depended on Iggy really. There were times he was easily forthcoming and others...
"Morning, handsome," he offered with a half quirked smile as Prom made his way off to bed. It was obviously something that had them both on some pretty high emotions last night. He knew them both well enough by now, especially that look about Iggy. He wasn't going to prod at him right away. Just waking up was no time anyone wanted to have questions thrown at them, but it was true that Iggy wouldn't get away with escaping him forever. Sooner or later, Gladio would be looking to know what was up, but he also respected his friend enough to give him some breathing room before pressing in on him like that. "Long night?" He asked, already going about getting some coffee ready for Iggy while he made up a protein shake. "Because you look like you already need a nap." And no, he probably didn't need coffee right now, but this was Iggy. He had coffee all the time.
Before, during, and after the whole ordeal that sent them driving around the world at large together, they went through a lot. Not a one of them walked out unscathed, how could you? But they pressed on through both the good and the bad... and sometimes it was really bad. Every step of the way tested them and their bonds to one another and he would be the first to admit it wasn't always pretty. It was far from ever easy and there were burdens that they each individually came by that at the time that may or may not have been shared between them. Since coming here, there was a relief that settled in that made talking about those things... not less of a priority, but it did fall to the wayside.
"Was thinking about it, yeah." Though there was something in his tone that said he was reconsidering this entirely. "You wanna talk about it?" He was giving Iggy the chance to either rip off the band-aid now, or take a minute to breathe before getting back into it. Either way didn't matter to Gladio, but he wanted to give Iggy the choice. The only way Gladio would end up pestering him would be if days went by and Iggy had yet to tell him what was up. Then he would be on his case about it. For now, if he wanted to wake up - or get harassed by Gladio for awhile before going back to sleep - that was fine by him.
