So he got a little reckless sometimes. So things could get a bit out of hand with him around. You had to break a few eggs to make an omelet, right? Had to take a risk to get anywhere that mattered. It wasn't like it was his fault that crazy junk always seemed to happen or that he was used to shimmying up tall trees or dangling off railings or flying into the air on the back of Metal Greymon. Tai was *used* to risking himself, doing what it took to make things happen. He was a go at it, full frontal, get things done kind of guy! So who could blame him if shimmying along the side of the third story windows didn't exactly seem like a super far fetched idea. He was just...being inventive and...bold and on top of his game. What was three stories compared to balancing in sync on Omnimon's back with Matt there by his side? Right?
'Stupid Matt.' He thought abruptly, before he could stop himself, some childish resentment coming in strong for a split second before he was brought back to the moment.
He instead hastily looked to Izzy, a weak, deceptively awkward laugh escaping him as he rubbed at the back of his head, through a fist full of unusually long brown hair. "Heh...well, can't say you didn't get your daily dose of fresh air and sun!" He reminded freely, tone a bit exaggerated in its humor, grinning awkwardly.
At the abruptly more serious tone and reprimand, at the actual swearing he hesitated, smile slipping away, but soon replaced by a quick huff. "Oooh, relax Izzy! Nothing happened! See, we're fine, you're fine," He patted the other's chest as if to prove such a thing in ease, "Good as new! Just a quick little trip. I knew you'd get here in time!" He hadn't, but the words were filled with a sheer bravado to them anyways.
Tai definitely didn't pick up on the reddening blush, dismissing it for the windswept chaos of the moment again sighing as he laid back, sprawled a bit too easily as if it were the most normal thing in the world, as if it were his own personal coach and he the slunk and sagging cat, over the whole of Izzy. There was something distinctly unfair actually about the fact that he was suddenly lighter and didn't amount to a heavy, ridiculous weight on the computer whiz's legs. It felt...off. Like he'd suddenly shrunk by a few good years. Or when Izzy hit his growth spurt and practically outmatched him in height.
"Well, sure we have a door." He commented broadly, gesturing wildly in the air, "But the problem was you were on the other side of it. Can't really go through a door when you're trying to avoid people when people are on the other side." He pointed out as if check and mating Izzy's logic. The teen let out a soft "oof" as Izzy removed himself from beneath him, giving a dramatic and long drawn sigh as he lay sprawled.
"Wow." Augumon meanwhile finally gasped, shakily pushing himself up with his claws. "Boy, that was...Tai, I think I agree with Izzy. Next time we skydive we should definitely bring a parachute. Or a Parachutemon. Or Tentamon, acting as a parachute!" Augumon suggested weakly, bringing a clawed hand up to his head.
"Yeah, you said it buddy." Tai agreed heavily, looking for all purposes as if he intended to simply remain a lump of a potato there on the giant bug digimon for the rest of time, exasperation now more clear in the dramatics of his tone, eventually glancing up at the offered hand. He hesitated then, more brought back to himself, pressing himself up - his personality, at least, entirely in tact despite his new found feminine features. "Uh. Thanks, Izzy." He finally gave, pulling himself up to take the hand.
Man his was weirdly soft. He felt awkward and self conscious, suddenly wondering if this was what the digimon came close to feeling when they digivolved. The total change of voice and body was...uh, jarring.
At Izzy's staring Tai finally caught the other's expression, some instinct causing his own face to go a bit more red kind of unexpectedly. "Uh--" He began awkwardly, "I know they're new and all but my face is up here, Izzy." He joked, and the joke was, actually, just as awkward, Augumon dismounting as well before he went to Tentamon's side, giving the bug digimon a bit of a knowing look.
