It felt like it had been a while since Osamu was so completely pissed off at anything. Daichi was proving to be a Captain that Osamu really didn't want, and it was enough to almost make him question if he should just quit the team. Yet, Kita's words were still in his head, and while his former Captain wasn't at his school or really that close to him now, he still wanted him to be proud to call him his kouhai. He missed Kita. Kita would never kick him out or make him do something ridiculous like this. Why Daichi had the nerve was beyond his comprehension.
Then again, Kita didn't need to punish them. He just had to level a look of disappointment their way and you felt like the world was ending.
Then again, he sort of felt that way now, so maybe they were both effective. That didn't mean he wanted to sit there with an Iwaizumi who was already pissed off doubly because of the funky magic and Osamu's less than awesome serve. At least, things were mostly quiet between them, and he could try to ignore how small and fragile Iwaizumi's hand felt in his. What was the point of this again?
"Probably until Dadchi tells us we can leave." He really didn't know. He felt like he barely knew the dude as a Captain. They'd need to pick a better one for next year when he left. Then again...Iwaizumi would be leaving too. Maybe that would make everything easier.
"I really didn't mean to hit you. My serve isn't my strongest skill." Was it an apology? Kind of. Sort of. Not really. Everyone screwed up a serve from time to time. The fact that a handful of the team were girls now was definitely distracting. "What is this even supposed to do?" He looked down, giving Iwaizumi's hand a squeeze for emphasis. "I'm hungry..."
