The air was still cold when Eiji had left that morning for class. By the time he was out, it was a little warmer, the sun taking the edge off the air, but as soon as the wind blew it nipped at your skin and felt like it went straight through your clothes. Stopping into one of the convenience stores near campus to grab some food for later had felt like a nice break from the cold, and maybe Ash was onto something in not going to class. Eiji never really knew what he did all day, but a part of him really trusted Ash not to fall into old and bad habits. He didn't need that anymore, even if he felt like it was all he knew. Eiji knew he was so much better than that.
"I'm home!" He called as he let himself into the door for no reason in particular. Ash always seemed to know when he was there and when he wasn't, like he'd memorized the sound of Eiji's footsteps or something equally ridiculous. People couldn't do that? Though, with it being Ash, he was often left surprised by what he could do.
Once he'd dropped off the groceries and put them away, he stepped around to look for Ash. He wasn't too surprised to find him at the desk. He stepped up behind him, putting his hands on Ash's shoulders as he leaned over his back. "What are you doing?" He asked, suddenly interested. Ash could do things on a computer that you only ever saw in movies or weird and crazy dreams.
