The day was steadily winding itself down into evening by the time their list had been completed. It was sort of tedious, tiresome, work, and Bakugo might not have been the best choice in delivering supplies to innocent people. Todoroki knew from experience that he was slowly getting a little bit better with his people skills, and besides, he was one of the stronger students in school, even just carrying boxes and letting Todoroki do most of the awkward talking was a big enough help.
The snow crunched beneath his boots as they walked down the path they'd made just this morning. It was already covered again, the snow falling softly and the sky gray. There wasn't much sign of letting up. He tipped his head back, letting one of the flakes fall and melt on his face while he gave the hand he was holding a small squeeze. He never quite knew just how much Bakugo would let him get away with, but he figured that it was fine enough for something so small. Besides, they weren't that close to school yet, to where Todoroki would be challenging his luck too much. He stared down at the path, wondering if they should clear it again, but deciding against even asking. It'd likely get covered again by morning even if they did.
That was when his gaze wavered, and he stared at the snow for a few steps. It was a comfortable silence as they walked, and Touya already knew not to expect him back tonight. That was good and bad as he gently released Bakugo's hand, letting him go one while he paused to duck down. He was probably going to, at least, get an earful for this. Yet, it somehow seemed more than worth it. The other boy probably didn't get far, but a step or two gave Todoroki enough time to scoop up some snow in his gloves and give it a squeeze before standing, "Hey, Suki," and promptly throwing it at Bakugo once he had the other's attention. "Think fast."
