Curious, Oikawa gave Eiji a bit of a look before shrugging. Volleyball was fun, and he almost felt like he forgot that. Mysterious, no, but it almost felt like Eiji couldn't decide if the game was more fun than Oikawa. Which...was a bit weird, but not enough to comment on.
So, he just looked at Eiji expectantly until the other boy handed him a treat and he just took a moment to stare at it. Is that all? He gave another brief laugh and set it on the counter before shaking his head. Eiji was certainly different. Though, not really in a bad way. "You can't actually blow up, can you?" While he hadn't readily experienced anything yet first hand, he'd certainly heard about the rest of the world, including the other school.
For a moment, Oikawa wondered if there was going to be some kind of punchline to what Eiji was saying, but he seemed oddly sincere in it all and suddenly he just felt shocked, mouth opening wide before he pointed an accusing finger at Eiji. "You can't do that, Eiji-chan! You're young so you must eat well and get plenty of rest!" He could remember Iwaizumi scolding him not to long ago over the same thing...but surely it was different. They were in the middle of a tournament! Both extremes were fairly warranted.
"Apologize and promise to go to bed at a decent time." It was almost comical, even to Oikawa, when he was never really the one to scold anyone, usually that fell to their ace on the team, but now, here he was. "And you need to eat something other than all that." He waved a hand, indicating what Eiji was carrying. "That's okay for a snack but you need real food, too." A pause, then his hand was back on his hip, lips slightly slipping into a smirk. "Maybe that's why you're short, Eiji-chan. You should take better care of yourself." Yeah. Nailed it. Way better than Iwaizumi threatening to punch someone.
