Who: William and Kat (and several NPCs)
What: an investigation
When: Saturday evening
Where: Staten Island Mall
Rating: I'm guessing mild, unless Kat uses her "assets" to get information
Status: closed/incomplete
William was in a much better mood now that he'd gotten laid. Even better because it was with Kaarena. While complications could arise from their romp, it had helped to clear his head and solidify his position in his small family. He and Kaarena were united by a common goal, and they were clearly capable of working together.
He headed back to the tower, his hair damp and slicked back from the shower and the continued rain. But there was a spring in his step that Kat was sure to notice. He'd told her to meet him at the garage so they could get to the mall straight away. "Evening, love," he said with a smile while leaning in to kiss her cheek in greeting. "I hope you're prepared to act like a stupid teenager while talking to some store clerks and maybe show a little skin to distract mall security." They needed surveillance video and witness accounts, and people were far more likely to share that information with Kat. She was cute, young, and approachable. Those qualities made her a good asset for this mission. Melody or Odette might have worked as well, but William hadn't been able to spend much time with Kat since his return, and he was looking forward to catching up.
