Kyle waited patiently for Dominic to give in - as he'd suspected he would. People could be awfully stubborn about refusing help of any sort -- in fact, it was something which Kyle's friends had frequently pointed out about him -- but strangely enough, they were often willing to seek out any cure possible for a hangover.
It would have been easier for Kyle to fix him up if he touched him, but wary as Dominic was, Kyle wasn't sure he should invade the other man's space in that way. Besides, if the point was practice, it made sense to give himself a bit of a challenge.
"Right," he said. "This might feel weird." His eyes strayed toward Dominic's hairline and along his temple. Whereas others often had to focus very hard on what they wanted their powers to do, Kyle's power use had more to do with freeing the restraints from his powers to just let them do as they pleased; they seemed almost to have a mind of their own, to know what they were doing more than he did. He did not need a detailed understanding of the body; his powers simply drew from his energy to knit what another's body knew was broken. In this case, Kyle knew the vessels in Dom's brain were relaxing slightly, and his cells would be rehydrating themselves. "Just tell me when it feels better."
