[WB] 22 NOVEMBER 2013, FRIDAY NIGHT.
Who: Jason Scarsdale, Oriana Krause, and anyone else who was interested in/invited to a certain party.
What: Crashing a loft party!
When: Friday night, Nov 22nd.
Where: A warehouse loft in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Rating: TBD? I can’t see it getting all that high.
Status: IC/OOC thread.
The loft itself was pretty unimpressive. It was spacious but rundown, its decor consisted of dingy exposed pipes with the occasional streamer hanging limply down into the crowd. Jason wasn’t that disappointed by the loft’s shabby appearance (he couldn’t say the same for certain other members of the group), but he had hoped the much-hyped party would be taking place in one of the swankier lofts he always heard so much about. There was nothing swanky about this party: he was pretty sure there was a broken disco ball hanging from the ceiling.
The other revelers looked like they were having a lot of fun, though, and that was the party’s saving grace. They danced and laughed and jeered at each other as they downed their drinks, shouting out song suggestions to the DJ sequestered in the corner. No one had paid much attention to the group of Willowbrook when they’d arrived shortly after ten; in fact, someone claiming to be a friend of the host had flagged them down as soon as they’d stepped over the threshold, pointing them in the direction of the refreshments table.
The refreshments table, of course, was simply a pile of crates with a wide assortment of alcohol, mixers, and red Solo cups stacked on top. Again, it wasn’t the most impressive display, but who cared? There was free booze and good music, mostly electronic and dubstep—what more could you ask for?----
This is an IC/OOC thread! Sort out things OOCly, then thread away. :) Who was there, what did they do, did they get a little crazy? The group was probably kicked out around 12 after the host realized they were there, oops.
