So. This one's my latest fresh take on an old and well loved character. Dr John Truman Carter III has returned to my headspace. Ihave a very very very soft spot for Carter. I have loved him since the original airing of the pilot episode. I was at college, watched with my room mate and two suitemates. Donna and I argued over who liked this puppy more. In the end I think I won. Haha.

Anyway. Carter is post S11, the episode when he went to Africa, met up wth Luka, had a gun held to his head, and ran home to sit at Abby's bedside while she slept. Only he never made it to Chicago. He ended up at JFK, per his post. He has already discovered his new address and place of work. he's working under House in Diagnostics. Should be fun.

I've chosen to bring him in shortly after Gamma's death, but before he went totally left of center and became a different character with Carter's name. He's one of the wealthiest men in the country, but the money means very little to him. He grew up in priviledge, yes. He's never had to do without. But he had a taste of it, in Africa. The level of poverty there really affected him. He's very humbled. And he'll likely donate a lot of his money to the hospital and to charities and whatnot. Childhood cancer is his biggest interset, given his brother died of Lieukemia when they were kids.

He's a good guy, if you know him. He genuinely cares about people. he's like...a male Cameron, in House terms. Haha. House is going to adore him, I'm sure. XD. But. He gets the job done.
