Jim lined his shot up carefully, eying the table from a few angles. He wanted this to be perfect. He leaned down, looking at the table from a level point of view, before straightening and taking his shot, sinking two of his balls.
It had been odd at first, talking to George. But now he was almost alright with it, and sometimes he could go a whole conversation without thinking of the fact that George was his father. It was no surprise to Jim that he fought against the idea, though it sometimes made him feel bad. Not that he ever showed it or talked about it, really. It was such a bizarre situation, he doubted that talking to anyone would really help.
He straightened, taking a drink of his beer. "So, how's life at home? Crazier than life here?"
