Pete waved a hand at an agent passing, and the agent nodded back, and he just grinned as je surveyed the paperwork he was filling out. Equipment requisitions were always annoying, and these were doubly so as they were cross-country forms, and both S.H.I.E.L.D.. and W.H.O.** wanted to be sure everything was dotted and crossed. Working for W.H.O. was fun, but sometimes a bureaucracy was a bureaucracy, and annoying.
Today, he was requisitioning equipment for a small mission into Africa, and he knew that the paperwork would be annoying, which was why he was doing it here, on SKydeck 13, a small internal cafe with a view of New York City below them. He could eat, ignore the paperwork at times, and be amused by the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who scurried past and saluted. As a visiting V.O.P., he was granted honorary Agent 1 status, and it was sometimes funny to see people blink at his badge and realize they needed to salute this civilian.
He sighed as he looked back at his paperwork, and shook his head. 27 forms, just for a few pieces of material. Too much fun.
