Books
I have to say that I haven't read up on many books. I've done quite a bit of researching though, and that is probably why I haven't purchased a book on the subject yet. I'll make it a point to check out your selection though.
I will suggest a few books that probably should never be read, unless it's for the sole purpose of entertainment. There's not much historical value in them...
1.) Anything by Silver Ravenwolf.. and my ideas on her were confirmed with reading this article: http://wicca.timerift.net/ravenwolf.html . It seems she is more interested in bashing the Christian faith than actually teaching the Craft and tolerance for other religions.
2.) Margaret A. Murray. She blatantly made most of her 'facts' up, and they were disproven years ago.
3.) Anything you do not feel comfortable reading. (I.E. books that offer spells for finding a parking space, or a hex for someone who cuts you off. *general misuse AND abuse of The Craft) If something doesn't sound right, don't take it for fact. Always question and research so that you know as close to the truth as possible.
Most books are out there for ideas, and help along your path. Some writers exploit for profit or attention, while others are simply trying to help you gain knowledge. It's your job to figure out what to believe and what to take with a grain of salt.
