Koschei had found himself in a dining room instead of his own small room, and had sat down in a bit of a daze - this place didn't have the same sense of time as where he'd been. More like home.
He hadn't even been quite aware he'd sat down until a child climbed into his lap, and he glanced down, his eyebrows climbing towards his hair. "If you react like your more recent regenerations, I'd say no. It's hard enough to keep up with a caffeinated Theta when he's an adult."
He lifted one hand to rub at his temple, wondering what had happened to him. He had to find his Theta, and possibly Romana. And lock the memories of the place away, forget about those blasted creatures that Romana had so desperately wanted the help of.
