When Cait confessed that it was her fault that Rodney was hurt, Carson looked into her eyes and shook his head. "No, you don't. Everyone has moments like that."
When she tried to get up off the table, he caught her arm and pulled her back. "Cait, love. Really. You can't blame yourself. Accidents are going to happen, especially around this place considering all the technology and other things that are here that we know nothing about. It sounds like Lorne or Rodney could have very easily have been the ones to trip that wire, so don't feel bad." He then raised his eyebrows and cocked his head toward the singing Canadian. "And if he gives you trouble, tell him to tell you about Geldar. He's made his fair share of mistakes."
"Hey...why are we going to name the baby Erin?" Rodney suddenly piped up. "Is it because John and Fred said that's what their kids told them? It's kind of a paradox if you think about it. Naming the baby because that's what you were told you were going to name it because that's what you were told you were going to..." He trailed off for a moment. "What was I saying again?"
"All right, you," Carson said. "I think you've had enough of the morphine."
"But I like it!" Rodney whined.
"And I don't think you're going to want to be strung out when your daughter is born." Carson turned back to Cait. "Like I said, don't blame yourself, love." He kissed her again. "I'll see you in a little bit?"
