Caitlin watched her husbands interact and snorted. "He keeps reminding us he has a medical degree, like it makes him a real doctor and not us," she said as she winked at Carson. She then laughed when Rodney said he wanted to be there for the scan. "You worry too much, Rodney."
At the mention of grilled cheese sandwiches, Caitlin smiled. "Actually, that does sound good. Grilled cheese and tomato soup," she said with a nod.
"We'll make it!" Rodney said as he grabbed Carson's hand and tugged him toward the kitchen.
After the boys were gone, Caitlin sat down on the couch and placed her hand over her stomach. "So are you Shaun or another one that snuck their way in?" she asked, remembering how John and Fred hadn't known about Chase until one of her later scans. "I guess it doesn't matter, though. All of us are going to love you no matter what. You're going to have two daddies and two older sisters that are going to love you very much."
Smiling, she stood up and went into the kitchen so she could get some bowls down. Before she could, Rodney was trying to shoo her away with a kitchen towel.
"You should be in here in your condition," he said.
"My condition?" Caitlin asked as she crossed her arms. "You're lucky I love you, Rodney. Although, I think someone just bought him sometime tied to the bed tonight."
She smirked at the look on Rodney's face before turning and walking out of the kitchen.
