It had been a long while since Caitlin had been on this long of a ride. Being on Atlantis meant using the Gate and transporters to go from place to place. But as long as she was with Carson and Charlie, then she didn't mind the long ride.
When they arrived in Paisley, she put Charlie back in her carrier and got off the train with Carson. She stood back as Carson greeted his mom and brother. "Nice to meet you, too, Mrs. Beckett," she said before returning Helen's hug.
As they pulled back, Helen cupped Caitlin's face. "It's either mum or Helen. None of this Mrs. Beckett business. Make me feel older than I am," she said before she looked at Kieran. "Stop gawking, son, and help your brother get their luggage so we can get back to the house so I can hold my granddaughter."
"Yes, mum," Kieran said before he playfully shoved Carson. He then bent down picked up a couple of bags and carried them to the car.
Once all of them were in, Kieran started toward the house. Caitlin, however, wasn't prepared for them to be driving on the wrong side of the road. "Oh god," she said as she squeezed her eyes shut. "Tell me when we get there."
