She took a quick moment to asses Jane when the woman stood upright. It was second nature to her now - asses and catalog. Decide in less than a minute if you could take someone in a fight because you just might have to (the answer was still debatable in her assessment - Jane obviously had military training and had the general air of "badass"). It was funny how she didn't even think about it anymore, she just did it. Much like entering a room and knowing in an instant every exit.
Alex shook the offered hand - though hers was less militaristic and seemed more on the diplomat side. Some habits die hard, and for Alex being the picture perfect heiress of a billion dollar empire was one of them. "Alex, yeah," she replied.
She shrugged a little. "Don't really mind it," she said. Sure she'd take a nice spring or summer day over the dead of winter but she was Russian, she was used to cold.
Now wasn't that the million dollar question. What did she do before all this. Of course her first instinct was to lie, but when your life was a tv show there was really no point in trying to conceal the truth. "Short answer? I'm a spy," she offered. Long answer was a million times more complicated than that but she figured they probably wanted to start their run sometime in the next week. "Yourself?"
