Re: (lol no wonder I didn't get the notif)
"Oh, they just love me. It's a big secret that I'm the favorite." He replied sarcastically. Working with kids wasn't something was that was entirely alien to Logan. There had been many time in his life when some had come his way and generally stuck around. He still couldn't entirely explain it, but they'd always come out all right. Besides, even if he'd never admit it out loud, Logan liked it too.
"Drives ya' nuts sometimes, don't it?" Logan actually seemed to soften for a moment. "Can't even tell ya' how many nights of sleep I've lost over it." Logan's heels dug a little deeper into the ground as they walked. The memories weren't exactly pleasant. "Just gotta keep tryin' to fill your days with what you can, make new ones." He looked on ahead into the distance, letting the fog clear itself from his mind.
"Can't say I ever thought I'd end up in Maine." He added, following her lead toward the place they'd be eating. "Not that I'm gonna mind it much." Maine wasn't really much different from a lot of Canada for the most part. The U.S. state had more population than the places he tended to chose to live, he was pretty sure, but that was about the only different. "Ever seen a North Atlantic winter?" He asked. "Place gets pretty damn cold." Again, not that it bothered him...Thank you, very much, mutations.
