It shouldn't have been so strange that Thor looked exactly the same as the last time she'd seen him, but so much had happened that she felt like he should be different. Or she should be. Something should be besides the place where they were. Pushing the thought out of her head, she blinked when he wrapped his arms around her and lifted her into a tight hug. Her surprise had her speechless for a moment, but then she let out a laugh and lifted her arms to slip them around his neck and return the hug tightly.
The last time she'd seen him, she had kissed him, but this time he was setting her down so fast that she could barely react in time. On her face was a silly grin, the kind she rarely ever showed, and it didn't fade as he dropped her back to the earth. "That's funny, because I was going to say the same thing about you. And I'm just as happy to see you, too," Jane responded, then laughed again when he once more hugged her, then spun her. Resting her hands on his cheeks once she was set back down, she studied his eyes for a moment, then nodded and smiled up at him. "Yes. You did," Jane said softly.
Nodding at his offer, her hands slowly slipped off his face to rest on his arms for a moment, then grip his hands. "I'd like that, very much." Thank you Darcy for the pancake suggestion. Her hands let go of his when he offered up the money, and she grinned again, nodding. "That's more than enough, Thor. I'll help you figure out how much when we get there." Gently, she pushed the hand holding the bills down, then took his other. "Shall we?"
