Thor paced back and forth in front of the tower, attempting to formulate a clear line of thought. The son of Odin was not unaccustomed to the nature of magic. His Brother, who was apparently also here, was a master of such arts. The fact that Thor had arrived again, on Midgard, in yet another small town, at the same time as his Brother, had been an unsettling correlation of events. It had left him confused and with much to think about, and had sent him wandering about the town for hours. He'd even considered shouting for his Brother to show his face, as he made his way toward the tower where he was told he'd be living, but a single event had stalled him on the matter.
Jane Foster was here.
It felt like a lifetime since he had last seen her and, with the Bifrost still in need of repair, he had near abandoned the idea that the event would ever come to pass. Heimdall had assured him, on more than one occasion that she was well and still searched for him. All of this had come as little comfort during his last visit to her realm, as the battle had consumed him and there had been no time to seek her out.
Now, she was here. There was a chance for them to have a reunion, but the moment had been tempered by the bittersweet revelation that he were not the only one from his world here. If Loki truly was here, Thor simply could not, much as he wished he could, accept the notion that his Brother was innocent of some part in it. It seemed like just the kind of plan his Brother would hatch, and also not unlike him to draw in those with whom he could use as leverage. It made him all the more pleased that Jane would be joining him presently.
If Loki was responsible, he knew this was just the beginning. It was the first stage of a plot that Thor did not have the right vantage point to examine. Beyond that, even if what Jane had said was true, that Loki was entirely innocent of any wrongdoings on this matter, Thor could have easily imagined that Loki would find a way to create opportunity from this madness.
In spite of it all though, his heart still clung to the hope that the man he would find would be the Brother he remembered. If there was truth to that, and the hope proved worthwhile, then this realm would not be so complicated in terms of figuring out. There really was no way of knowing until he spoke with Jane, and Loki, however, so Thor opted to simply start there.
The incentive of coffee and pancakes with a woman he had missed dearly? That didn't hurt.
