Castiel stopped his own swing and nodded, assuming she was correct. Children often liked to pretend that they were things they were not. He supposed that psychologically, it was helpful for them, but thinking about those things in depth only became more confusing. Watching as Helena ran over to the monkey bars and hung upside down, he followed her, only to bend down and try to look at her from the right angle. It was awkward.
"How do I not?" he asked.
It was a genuine question. It was impossible to not think. As soon as he stopped trying, more thoughts beckoned their way in. He doubted that humans considered the phrase as keenly as he did, but then Dean had told him similar things. About food. About women. And television, though no matter how many times he viewed Dr. Sexy, M.D., he felt that the medical professionals within the show made visibly poor choices. It was difficult not to think about at the given time.
Though he did remember how to play. Teleporting to the top of the monkey bars, he landed in a seated position, holding onto the bar beneath him and hunched over. "We played games at one time," he admitted. "Before the end of days and before my garrison was broken apart. We were newer...and though I never won, I do recall the game we played most often."
Still, he twisted his head to try and meet Helena's eye. "We played tag."
