"You're going to run the youth center?" She was trying really really hard not to laugh, but was doing a pretty poor job of it. "I'm sure that's going to be lovely. I can see you teaching a lot of the kids some.. basketball or something." She coughed back her laughter, and shook her head. It was totally natural and not in any way hilarious. Except for where it was totally hilarious.
It would be almost nice if when she got her memories back, it turned out not to be a big deal. That she wasn't any more or less of herself without them. That's what she was hoping for. That all of this worrying and not knowing what to do with herself was really for nothing. Because Carol was going to be Carol no matter what. She was hoping that was the case.
"Go to my head, I have no idea what you're talking about." She in fact did nudge him with her elbows. "Hey I really hope that's a reference to my having a fat head and not anything else. Don't worry though, I will carry something to be able to fit into your door if I have a giant head. Don't you worry." She smirked slightly and then shook her head. "Hey I dressed up in a dress for the ball, and you didn't even need to bet me for that one. I don't hate dresses. They're just not usually kick-ass friendly."
Carol frowned slightly and shook her head, "Yeah that's.. You are super old, aren't you?" She couldn't help but dig at him a little. "I'd still babysit, even if you would freak out at all the technology."
