Now, here was the thing about Greece. If you listened to muggle historians, Greece was the country from which enlightenment, and knowledge and reasoning came from. But Ho. Lee. Shit. You would've never been able to guess that from the way the crowd behaved at the show that night. It was completely and utterly insane how bat shit the fans were. You would've thought they were waiting all their lives for the Weird Sisters to play a show in their area instead of a few measly months.
After the show, Heathcote was busying himself packing up his guitar. The rest of the band members and the roadies were going back and forth, loading things into the bus to prepare for departure to Thessaloniki. He just finished closing and locking the lid on his guitar case when he saw her at the corner of his eye - a rather familiar short bobble of blonde hair. He immediately looked up and - yup. There was no mistaking who it was. Bianca Wine, ladies and gentlemen. In the flesh. Merlin, this was surreal. Talk about people you never really expected to see again. Not that he didn't want to see her again, just - wow. And Jesus, she still looked the same. A little bit more pulled together, maybe, with a more matured fashion sense, but every bit as lovely as ever.
And maybe it was just because he was still riding the feel-good endorphins from a show well-played, but Heathcote couldn't help himself booming out excitedly "Hey!" he waved and approached her, bouncing all the while, grinning from ear to ear. He only skidded to a stop when he realized he had all intentions to reach out and hug her and he had nooo idea if that was even an allowable or appropriate way to greet an ex you had parted on though not bad but all the same weird terms with. He awkwardly offered a hand to shake instead, though the smile never budged from his face. "You're certainly a sight to see. Nice to see you."
